வேலூருக்கு என்று ஏழு அதிசயங்கள் உண்டு..கேள்வி பட்டதுண்டா நீங்கள்??
1. கடவுள் இல்லா கோவில் (சிலை திருடப்பட்டது ஆனால் மீண்டும் புதிதாக வைக்கவில்லை)
2. தண்ணீரில்லா ஆறு (பாலாறு)
3. அதிகாரமில்லாத போலிஸ் (ஏன் என்று தெரியவில்லை)
4. அழகில்லாத பெண்கள்.
5. வீரமில்லாத ஆண்கள்
6. ராஜா இல்லாத கோட்டை
7. மரமில்லாத மலை (இதனால் தான் மிகுந்த வெப்பம். வேலூர் வெய்யிலுக்கு பிரசித்தி)

I have also heard this years ago when I joined the Vellore Engineering College.. I guess, it must have changed by now.. I cannot comment on the Azhagilladha Pengal and Veeramilladha Aangal..
Some years ago, there was a police training college functioning in the Fort campus. They wear police uniform but they don’t have abt power.
